As we complete yet another academic year, the Management and the Teachers are grateful to God and to you and the PTA Committee for your whole hearted support and involvement in all the activities of the School during the last academic year. May God Shower his abundant blessings upon you and your family.
Given below are a few guidelines and changes for the next academic year 2014 - 2015.
The School closes for summer vacation on 28th March 2014 after the exams. The students are advised to spend the summer holidays usefully and productively with activities such as reading, writing, attending summer camps and developing their talents and keeping themselves occupied with various hobbies of interest.
SJBHS Summer Cricket Camp: (April 2, 2014 to May 20, 2014)
The School is conducting a summer cricket camp 2014. Details are on the Notice Board. SJBHS cricket camp is mandatory for our school cricket teams.
The School will reopen on Monday 2nd June 2014 from U.K.G. to Std. 10th and Std. 12th. There will be no assembly on re-opening day. When the bell rings students will go to their respective classes, where attendance will be taken, calendars and fee challans distributed and time table dictated. Books are not required except one rough book. Attendance and uniform is compulsory on the re-opening day. The School session will end at 10:30 a.m. on that day. On Tuesday 3rd June school will begin with morning assembly and full day classes.

For uniforms, tailors approved by the school will be available in the School premises from 1st April to 30th April 2014. Ties, socks, belts will also be available on the said dates. Their rates are up on the School notice board.
Blazers are compulsory for Std. 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. They will be available with the same tailors on the above dates. Formal uniform, with blazers, must be worn on Mondays and House Colours on Fridays.
House Colours (T-shirts) will be issued after the school reopens.
Addidas, Puma and Nike black shoes will be sold in the School premises by the approved dealers from 1st April to 30th April 2014. Students are free to choose any one of the three brands of shoes. These are washable (no white shoes will be required). Their rates are up on the notice board.
The School buses from BMTC will function like last year. Those who wish to avail of the bus facility irrespective of whether they did it last year or not must register in the prescribed forms available in the office and obtain a school bus pass from the office.
Purchase of Books:
The books will be issued class-wise in the school on the dates mentioned below:
UKG – Std. III
- 21st April 2014 – 23rd April 2014
Std. IV – Std. VI
- 24th April 2014 – 26th April 2014
Std. VII – Std. X
- 28th April 2014 – 30th April 2014
A sports programme called “Leapstart Core Programme” will be continued for classes 1st to 7th. The fees for this programme will be Rs. 2300/- per annum.
A “Jump Bunch” sport and fitness programme will be continued for L.K.G. and U.K.G. The fees for this programme will be Rs. 2500/- per annum.
Various Clubs will be introduced from the next academic year for which a nominal fee will be charged and the same will be informed after the school re-opens.
The fees can be paid in full or in three installments.
