A new beginning requires the blessing of God, as it is He who has planned everything for us with all His love and care. He has a plan for each one of us and we must thank Him for all the opportunities, love and blessings that He has showered on us.

As is customary at the beginning of the year, our school observed an inter- religious prayer service on the 15th of June 2017. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Manish Paul, an old boy of our school.

The programme began with a prayer followed by lighting of the lamp by Mr. Manish Paul, Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Clifford Sequeira, Principal, Mrs. Miriam Angelo, Vice Principal, Rev. Fr. Robert C Rodrigues, Administrator Primary Section and student representatives.

After lighting the lamp, students invoked God’s blessings by reading from various religious scriptures and sang hymns to thank God for blessing them.

Mr. Manish Paul, spoke about the importance of being a peaceful, genuine and a humble person. He addressed the students on meditation exercises and the significance of being focused.

The prayer service ended with a video on ‘Showers of Blessings’. This programme made each student realize the importance of being a humble person and being thankful for all the blessings that God has bestowed on all of them. This was indeed a great start to the new academic year, 2017- 2018.
