The Snooker Club

The snooker club started this year 2013 - 14 in June 2013.

There are 20 students on roll. Most of the students are beginners. Boys show a lot of interest in learning the techniques of the game and are enjoying it at the same time.

As there is only one snooker table, the boys are finding it difficult to play.

Boys are taught the basics of the game, viz, holding the cue, aiming the ball, bridge formation, stance etc. The boys are very interested in learning these techniques.

There is also time constraint. Boys get to play once in a week for 80 minutes. After teaching the basics the boys are divided into teams and play a match.

We will also try to play inter house matches. Talented boys can also be selected for inter-school matches.
